Eric is an award-winning designer, creative director, film maker and photographer noted for his strategic thinking and results-oriented execution. His career in the creative arts began in 1988 as a photo-assistant for photographer Annie Leibovitz at a time when her celebrity portraits for clients such as Gap and American Express were generating global acclaim and attention. In the 1990s, Eric worked as a creative director at the Burnett Group, developing print advertising, and websites for clients such as Merrill Lynch, Pepsi, Société Générale and The American Folk Museum.
In 1997, Eric launched EVB Creative where he oversees the creative team responsible for strategy and design on print, web, film and photography projects for a diverse range of clients. EVB Creative’s work—as well as Eric’s own photography and film projects—have been recognized by many industry competitions and creative organizations, including: Communication Arts, Graphis, American Photography, The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), and the Pusan and Berlin International Film Festivals. Eric holds a BA in Photography and his portrait and travel photography has been exhibited internationally and featured in numerous publications.

London-born Richard Hine began his career as an advertising copywriter. After moving to New York, he held creative and marketing positions at Adweek, Time magazine, where he became publisher of Time’s Latin America edition, and The Wall Street Journal, where he became vice president of marketing and business development. While at The Wall Street Journal, he oversaw the marketing campaign behind the launch of the Journal’s Weekend Edition in 2005.
Richard Hine’s fiction has been published in numerous literary publications, including London Magazine and Brooklyn Review. He is also a winner of and three-time finalist in The New Yorker Cartoon Caption Contest, and an interview of him appears in The New Yorker Cartoon Caption Contest Book (Andrews McMeel Publishing, 2008). He lives in New York City with the novelist Amanda Filipacchi.
